Ok I’m confused. UCLA students almost riot due to 32% tuition hike. The state of California is almost in financial collapse so they have really no other choice then to raise taxes and other forms of state funding, including the education system they created, violence is not going to fix the financial status of California. If the state keeps going in the direction it is there will be no public colleges. So why do these students think that rallying like this will change anything? I know they are mad and I know it sucks, I worked two jobs to pay my way through college, but that’s life. The people who run the schools know this too, they are not getting paid like the rest of CA, and are angry too. But protesting to the very school officials that are too suffering will not fix anything. Am I missing something?
